Xiaomi yesterday announced that their Xioami TV line-up will be coming to Malaysia, and will be available via pre-orders for those interested.
Three different variants of the Mi TV P1 Series was launched along side with Xiaomi’s flagship Mi TV Q1 model.
The event was streamed live online.
Highlights of the Xioami TV line-up
Both Xiaomi TV models comes with numerous highlights of its own as I will detail out below.
Mi TV P1 Series
The Mi TV P1 series is aimed as an affordable option for consumers. It comes with a super thin bezels and a 60Hz LED panel.
There’s three different sizes, 32″, 43″ and 55″, but the first two offers 4K resolution and Dolby Vision® support.
The 55″ variant support HDR 10+ and this bumps up the experience when watching movies.
All three variants come with Android TV which means they come integrated with YouTube, Netflix, Disney+ and other popular streaming apps.
The smart TVs also have built in Chromecast support and its very own Google Assistant inside, although the 43″and 55″ variant goes a step higher as it features a built in microphone which allows use of such feature hands-free.
Mi TV Q1
On the other hand, the Mi TV Q1 is the flagship model of the TV line announced yesterday.
It features an outstanding 75″ 4K quantum dot QLED panel with a premium metal finish supported by a sleek metal blade.
It also has 100% NTSC color range which makes colors come true to life. This is achieved with 192 dimming zones for excellent HDR10 and Dolby Vision®️ support.
The smart TV also supports a refresh rate of 120Hz with special low latency mode through a HDMI 2.1 port, which makes it very good for gaming.
Like the Mi TV P1 Series, the Mi TV Q1 comes with Android TV, but it adds an exceptional 30W, 6 speaker system built-in audio, which supports Dolby Audio and DTS-HD hence making it one of the best smart TVs out there.
Malaysia Xiaomi TV price and availability
In terms of pricing the Mi TV P1 retails from RM899 for the 32″, while the 43″ almost doubles that price at RM1,799. The biggest Mi TV P1, the 55″ is priced so much higher at RM2,499.
The flagship Mi TV Q1 75″ on the other hand retails at RM7,999.
All models will be sold by pre-order from 6 June 2021 in Malaysia, and buying them on Lazada or via their Authorized Mi Stores on that day will enable you to enjoy some kind of discount and freebie.
Promotions
The Mi TV P1 32″ will go RM100 cheaper on 6 June, and the first 100 pre-orders ill receive a free Mi Smart Band 6 worth RM189.
The Mi TV P1 43″ gets a bigger discount for pre-orders made on 6 June, with Xiaomi reducing the price by RM300. This means the TV will be sold at RM1,499 on that day.
The biggest smart TV under the Mi TV P1 series will not have any reduction in price, but you will get an array of Mi AIoT smart devices complementing your pre-order. They include Mi Vacuum Cleaner Mini, Mi 360° Home Security Camera 2K, Mi Body Composition Scale 2 and Mi Wi-Fi Range Extender Pro, all worth RM566 and is available while stocks last.
On top of that, all pre-orders and purchase of the Mi TV P1 series prior to 31st August 2021, will enjoy a 1-month membership for WeTV, iQIYI and Mango TV streaming platforms.
The flagship Mi TV Q1 75″ will not have any reduction in price during the pre-order stage on 6 June, but it comes with exclusive Mi AIoT gift pack worth RM 1,765.
