Xiaomi has officially released the RedmiBook 14 Ryzen Edition in China.
Announced first in October 2019, the notebook was touted to offer powerful hardware at affordable pricing.
Now, Xiaomi is offering the RedmiBook by pre-order on in China with sales expected on April 9 on JD.com.
The RedmiBook 14 was initially launched in May with Intel Core processors.
This Ryzen edition retains the 14-inch display that offers an 81.2 per cent screen-to-body ratio and comes with support for Dolby DTS audio for an immersive experience.
It comes in two variants in terms of processor, namely the AMD Ryzen 5 3500U processor and the AMD Ryzen 7 3700U processor. Both processor versions are bundled with 8GB/16GB RAM versions and 512GB storage.
Yesterday, the company has also revealed that the RebmiBook will support the company’s new cross-brand file transfer feature.
This feature which was launched earlier this year in cooperation with Xiaomi, Oppo, and Vivo will allow files to be transferred between devices from these brands which include its smartphones.
The RedmiBook 14 AMD Ryzen 5 8GB+512GB storage version is priced at 3299 yuan ($464/RM2,026) while the top-end AMD Ryzen 7 16GB +512GB version is priced at 3999 yuan ($563/RM2,459).
