Despite many parts of the world (including Malaysia) having just recently been acquainted with Xiaomi, and the Redmi Note, Xiaomi is set to introduce the 4G/LTE version of their biggest smartphone yet.
The Redmi Note which sells at RM509 in Malaysia is set to have a younger more powerful brother this coming August 12 with Xiaomi already teasing specification on their main Facebook page.
Aside from being 10 grams lighter their its predecessor, the new Redmi Note 4G/LTE will also come with the Quad-Core 1.6 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, 2GB RAM and an 8GB flash memory.
The improved version will also have the latest MiUI version (Android 4.4) and can be connected with the recently announced Mi Band.
Like it’s predecessor however, the Redmi Note 4G/LTE will come with a 5.5-inch IPS display, a 3,100mAh battery, a 13-megapixel rear camera and will only support one SIM.
It will be priced at 999RMB which is roughly around RM520.
