It’s always exciting to follow Xiaomi’s updates because they not only bring us new cool technology, but also offer these devices at a fraction of what other manufacturers are offering.
Today, Xiaomi has launched the new MIUI 7 which said to be ultra-fast, and power efficient. The new MIUI 7 will not only have a revitalized interface, but would also improve battery performances and an improved face detection system.
Asie from that, Xiaomi also launched the Redmi Note 2 which runs on MTK Helio X10 processor on 2GB RAM. The new smartphone has a large 5.5” full HD display, 13MP camera with PDAF autofocus, 3060mAh removable battery and 4G dual SIM. According to Xiaomi, the Redmi Note 2 (China) would be sold at RMB 799 (RM 502), while the Redmi Note 2 (Global) RMB 899 (RM 565). A higher capacity Redmi Note 2 Prime which comes with a 64GB storage space woule be priced at RMB 999 (RM 628).
Aside from that, Xiaomi also introduced their Mi Wi-Fi nano which is priced at RMB 79 (RM50). The router is the smallest in the Xiaomi family and Xiaomi claims it produces strong, stable signals with its PCB antenna.
Xiaomu aims to launch the Global MIUI 7 in India this coming 19 August.
