Xiaomi Malaysia has decided to delay their massive sale of 5,000 power banks and 6,000 units of their flagship Mi 3 smartphone due to a technical glitch at their website.

According to their official Facebook page, the technical glitch was caused by issues with Amazon Web Services and it has affected their site www.mi.com/my earlier today.

Xiaomi further explained that altough the issue has been resolved, and they are currently running tests to ensure that everything is working fine, they would want to provide the best experience to their buyers and have decided to pospone the same to tomorrow (28 May 2014) at 12 noon.

The Xiaomi Mi 3 was previously sold within 17 minutes when it was first launched in Malaysia, prompting the smartphone maker to re-stock and offer the smartphone again to its Malaysian customers.
