SAMARAHAN – Students in Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) had received their book vouchers worth RM200 starting 11 January 2012.
The book vouchers is one of the governments initiative to help university students under the 2012 budget.
According to UNIMAS Unofficial page on Facebook, the vouchers were collected at the numerous centers in the university, and all active Malaysian UNIMAS students are eligible.
On social networks, there has however been some saying that students are trading their vouchers for cash. This prompted some officials to advice students not to sell the vouchers for cash, but instead use them for buying their academic books.
