SAMARAHAN – SMK Muara Tuang will be expanded to a 36-classroom school as allocation for the project has been approved.

The good news was revealed by Welfare, Women and Family Development Minister Datuk Fatimah Abdullah at an event at the school.

According to her, the expansion would see SMK Muara Tuang being able to accommodate up to 3,000 students.  She also added that the government has tried to avoid over-crowding at the school by building SMK Asajaya 2 and SMK Kota Samarahan.

SMK Muara Tuang is located near Kota Sentosa and serves 13 residential estates and four villages. (Photo of SMK Muara Tuang from www.ngerepaksrimuarajak.blogspot.com)
