NEW SARAWAK TRIBUNE – Sarawak’s skipper, Shahrol Saperi said that they can beat table toppers PDRM if the players play to the coach’s game plan.
“If the players adhered to coach Robert Alberts game plan and we stay focus during the duration of the ninety minutes, we can beat the Police team Friday night,” he said when met at their training at the State Stadium yesterday afternoon.
After a three weeks break, the Sarawak Premier league side will entertain Police at the State Stadium this Friday night.
“The PDRM match is crucial for us as a win can be a morale booster and also the three points can help us stay among the top of the league table,” he added.
“The PDRM are leading our group at the moment but that doesn’t scare us as we know our own potentials ans strength.”
“The three-week break given by the Football Association of Malaysia in a way is a good tonic for all of us players as we managed give our body a hard earned rest.”
“For our coach, the non competitive football give him the chance to shape new ideas and tactics to our game.”
“The break also did wonders for our Croatian striker as he is now fully recovered and fit to play again and with a fully fit squad, we are back to our full strength.”he said.
