KUCHING – The toothless Crocs are set to sign 28 year old Croation, Vedran Muratović to replayed injured Kalle Sone which has yet to start this season.

According to news reports, the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) allows teams to sign a replacement foreign player if their registered import has yet to start a game, and is injured.

The decision is said not to be an easy one, but the Crocs simply can’t afford to keep miss-firing while waiting for Kalle to be fully fit. Kalle is expected to be out for another 6 more matches.

According to our search online, Vedran Muratović played for Dinamo Zagreb during his youth years, before moving to a few more Croation teams like Kamen Ingrad and Slaven Koprivnica. He eventually played in Bulgaria with the team Vihren Sandanski, before playing with Greece team, FI Crete. Before Sarawak, Muratović was with L’Entente SSG of France.

A said video of Muratović is seen below:

Muratović stands at 1.8m, and is expected to play his debut match for Sarawak after the Chinese New Year, but fans are hoping he will play when Sarawak play Selangor at Bukit Jalil this Saturday. The game is slated to be shown live over ASTRO. (Photo of Muratović credited to nkcelik.co.ba)
