Samsung had a rather bad outing with the Samsung Galaxy S7, but they seem keen to make amends with the up-coming Samsung Galaxy S8 (SGS8), which is slated to be released in at the end of the month.
The release is so close that teasers such as the one below, is already official.
Specifications leaked of the SGS8 however reveal that the latest addition to the Samsung Galaxy family would have a 5.8-inch AMOLED screen, a 12MP rear camera, 4GB worrth of RAM and run on Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processors, but like all leaks, it is not set in stone until it’s confirmed. A 3,000mAh battery would power this Android 7.1 Nougat smartphone.
To make matters more interesting, a bigger 6.4-inch SGS8 Plus is also planned for a released on the 29th of March, and pre-orders for both SGS8 and SGS8 Plus are expected to open in April.
Pricing of both phones should replace the current pricing for the Samsung Galaxy S7, so if you are keen to own one, it’s time to full up that piggy bank with some serious cash.
