Redmi has announced its first fitness band dubbed as Redmi Band.
The band comes after the company teased it on Weibo a day before.
According to GizmoChina, the band would be crowdfunded for a price tag of only 95 Yuan ($13/RM52) from 10 AM, April 9 in China.
Once produced however, the retail price of the band is expected to be 99 Yuan ($14/RM56).
This fitness tracker from the brand features a 1.08-inch rectangular color display and can support direct USB charging.
Redmi claims that the fitness tracker has a 14-day battery life from a full charge and comes with 5 sports modes and even has an optical heart rate sensor to monitor heart rates during workouts as well as throughout the day.
Like most fitness bands, the Redmi Band would also be capable of sleep monitoring and will be available in four different colors – orange, olive green, blue, and black.
