K Rajagopal’s men failed to overcome a more superior Saudi Arabia side as they faltered 4-1 in a friendly game at Shah Alam Stadium tonight.

The game started off with Saudi Arabia leading the scoreline by scoring in the early minutes of the game through a shot by Alsalem.

Moments later Alshehri doubled the lead to 2-0, before Safiq Rahim closed the gap after half time to make it 2-1 still for the Saudis.

From then on, it was one way traffic with Hazazi scoring in the visiting teams third goal, before Alsalem finished off Malaysia with his second goal of the night.
