Vedran Muratovic made his last appearance for Sarawak by scoring a goal in a game Sarawak dominated at Selangor.  Sarawak as expected fired on all cylinders as they seek for their second away win and they didn’t have to wait long before the flood of goals start flowing in.

Sharol Saperi made it one up for the visiting team in the 13th minute, before prolific striker Ashri Chuchu converted just before the half time.

In the second half, Sarawak continued to pressure the PKNS goal mouth with Vedran Muratovic leading the attacks. Nonetheless, PKNS got a quick break when they managed to pull one goal back through Khairul Azrin for them to remain in the game.

Vedran’s effort was finally rewarded in the 65th minute when the hard working striker’s solo effort struck the back of the left net to put the score at 3-1.

Sarawak wasn’t finished as they further pressed for the fourth goal. They almost had the fourth goal they were looking for, but it was ruled offside.

However in the 81st minute, Sarawak sealed their biggest win this season when Ashri struck in the fourth goal to give Sarawak a comfortable 4-1 win, and a leap to eight place in the league.

The win sparked enormous responses over social media as fans flooded social media sites with tweets and updates on the score. However, many reserved a special mention for outgoing striker Vedran whom will be leaving the team known as the Crocs when his short term contract ends. Vedran has found life at Sarawak difficult as fans have been judgemental over his scoring capabilities. His inability to strike clear cut chances have forced Sarawak to scout for a new import, which they are expected to sign next week.

Sarawak will meet Kelantan at home next weekend in an anticipated fiery match. Kelantan trashed their opponent at home 5-1 to keep themselves sealed at the top.
