Utilising a four-in-one-pixel combination technology, its 48MP rear camera sensors are designed to capture sharper images with greater detail.
This means that the camera has a large aperture, enabling the camera system to capture more light, and together with the Ultra Dark Mode 2.0.
A powerful AI Beautification algorithm that is developed by OPPO was also included in this phone. This feature makes it possible for users to shoot natural-looking selfies via the 16MP front camera, as well as the smartphone’s rear camera system. At the same time, it automatically smoothens facial features, as well as brightens the overall frame for natural-looking selfies and portrait shots.
Furthermore, it provides Night Portrait, Portrait HDR and Portrait Bokeh Effects to take the selfie and portraiture game to the next level. As the cherry on top, its AI Video Beautification feature will help to deliver beautiful shots when recording videos.
On the subject of videography, other than its 4K and ultra-wide angle video shooting capabilities, the OPPO A92 is also equipped with Electronic Image Stabiliser (EIS), ensuring users a stable video even though it is taken under shaky conditions.
In terms of power, the OPPO A92 has a 5,000mAh battery. This si claimed to provide up to 34 hours of call time, 50 hours of audio playback time or 500 hours of standby time. And when you do run out of battery, OPPO’s 18W Fast Charge system enables you to only take 45 minutes to charge the battery from zero to 50 per cent, for you to get back on the road quickly.
In terms of performance, the OPPO A92 features Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 665 mobile platform that comes equipped with the Adreno 610 GPU. As the latest version of the Snapdragon 660 platform, the Snapdragon 665 has four large Kryo 260 cores and four small Kryo 260 cores with frequencies of 2.0GHz and 1.8GHz respectively. Power consumption is 20 per cent lower compared to the Snapdragon 660.
All in all, with the help of OPPO’s Hyper Boost performance engine, the OPPO A92 provides users a smoother and faster overall experience.
The OPPO A92 offers an immersive visual experience. It is equipped with a Full HD+ display that offers a resolution of 2,400 x 1,080, a pixel density of 405 ppi, a maximum brightness of 480 nits and a punch-hole design to allow for a better screen-to-body ratio – 90.5 per cent to be exact.

The additional certification by TÜV Rheinland on the OPPO A92’s Full Care Display mode now provides a more pleasing viewing experience in low-light conditions.
On the topic of lighting conditions and display, the AI backlight adjustment and the Sunlight Screen of the OPPO A92 will constantly analyse the brightness of the environment in real time and automatically adjust the backlighting for optimum brightness. This will ensure readability under any lighting situation and even under strong sunlight.
The OPPO A92 comes in two colours, namely Twilight Black and Shining White. Apart from its punch-hole display, it features a 3D Quad-curve body and a side fingerprint unlock button. The 3D Quad-curve body is designed for a comfortable grip, while the side fingerprint unlock button allows users to unlock this smartphone in 0.3 seconds by placing their fingers on the power button.
