Maxis secured a coup when they managed to persuade OnePlus to offer the OnePlus One (One) smartphone exclusively to them in Malaysia. The smartphone known as the ‘flagship killer’ has well established itself globally as offering a premium quality smartphone for low prices.

The deal would see Maxis offering the highly sought after smartphone starting tomorrow, the 22 April at all Maxis outlets nationwide.

According to a statement by Maxis, the 64GB Sandstone Black OnePlus One will be available with the MaxisONE Plan at just RM859, which is a lot cheaper than the RRP of RM1,199. The plan in more detailed can be seen below.

Previously, those wanting to own the OnePlus devices needed to obtain invites to buy the One smartphone worldwide, with Malaysians needing to secure a third party dealer to ship the smartphone to Malaysia.

Nonetheless, Maxis’deal with OnePlus would see Malaysia becoming the first country to have the One launched in Maxis stores without invites.
