Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak Sarawak has officially launched the construction of Sarawak’s latest university after he did the ground breaking of the up-coming University College of Technology at Old Airport Road.

The college university is expected to cater for the needs of the Sarawak Corridor of Renewable Energy (SCORE), and to provide better tertiary education access to the people of Sarawak.

Sarawak is currently home to numerous well known private and public universities including Universiti Malaysia Sarawak, Universiti Teknologi Mara, Universiti Putra Malaysia, Swinburne University and Curtin University.
