University Malaysia Kelantan (UMK) has announced that they are giving free iPads to students enrolling to their university for the 2014/15 semester.

According to university officials, the move was in line with their virtual learning environment which was practiced in the university.

The official added that these iPads will allow students to scribble on an interactive board during classes, hence making learning more interesting.

It is said that some 3,100 new students registering at UMK will receive the iPads during this September registration.
