Manchester United were stunned Thailand’s Singha All-Star XI in their first Asian tour this season.
The defeat also marks a poor start of David Moyes’ reign at Manchester United which he took over from legendary Alex Ferguson.
The game started slow with with Moyes opting for Danny Welbeck as a lone striker, with host team, comprised of the best players from the Thai league, almost seized the initiative when Teeratep raced through early on only to be denied by Jonny Evans’ last-ditch tackle.
But then, the host was not to be denied when Teeratep, the diminutive Bangkok Glass forward, shattered the deadlock when he beat Amos at his near post on 49 minutes.
United never recovered after that, giving the English champions an embarrassing defeat.
