New airline Rayani Air has decided to make Langkawi, in Kedah its first hub as it plans it maiden flight of operation.
A Boeing 737-400 would commence the Langkawi-Kota Baru flight operation while another would begin the Langkawi-Kuala Lumpur destination.
Two more planes would be reserved for overseas flight operations next year.
Rayani Air’s launch has been delayed for sometime with it promising to enter the skies in January 2015 with Melaka slated as its hub.
Formerly, the airline seemed destined to adopt a red-white colour, but images of its new aircraft reveal that it will spot a green and white image.
