Malaysian are now on holiday to celebrate the installation of the 14th Yang di-Pertuan Agong Tuanku Abdul Halim Mu’azam Shah.
The installation was aired live on national television, and it happened at the newly built Istana Negara at Jalan Duta.
The ceremony created history on it’s own as this is the second time His Majesty was installed as the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, with the first as the Fifth Yang di-Pertuan Agong in 1970 at the age of 42.
Apart from that, His Majesty is also the first to be installed at the new Istana Negara in Jalan Duta.
