According to The Sun Daily, President of Sarawak Worker’s Party (SWP) Larry Sng Wei Shien has resigned as youth adviser in the chief minister’s office as well as from two other posts with the Sarawak state government-linked companies.

The resignation letters were submitted to the chief minister’s office today, and were backdated to June 1st with The Sun quoting Larry as saying “The resignations were just formality”.

Larry now leads SWP which he claims to be ‘BN-friendly’. However, Barisan National (BN) leaders have denied such claims by saying that a such party can’t be considered ‘friendly’ to them when they would be contesting against their component parties.
