Kuching City will be turned into a musical city as a prelude to the famous Rainforest World Music Festival (RWMF).
According to Minister of Tourism Datuk Amar Abang Johari Tun Openg, local talents would be showing their talent prior to the RWMF and this includes talents from SeberkasSK Green Road and Sekolah Seni.
Among the places identified are the Sarawak Tourism Complex, Sarawak Museum garden, and the Kuching Waterfront. The local acts are expected to perform alongside some international acts. Abang Johari also said that Sarawak Tourism Board (STB) and schools have been instructed to participate in the built-up mini-concerts, especially on weekends.
He also confirmed that international singer Zee Avi would be performing on the first night of the RWMF this year.
