News has surfaced in the internet claiming that Kuala Lumpur Football Association (KLFA) will be disbanded next season due to poor funding.

The news was broken out by supporter group Kuala Lumpur Ultras on their blog www.kualalumpurultras.blogspot.com and also on their facebook page.

According to the postings on the blog, those responsible including some unnamed ministers, have failed to ‘take care’ of KLFA as they are more concerned about winning the next general elections and turning Kuala Lumpur into a golden triangle.

They also claim that there were promises that the KLFA stadium will be repaired, but nothing has been done until today, despite the claimed completion date to be in June this year.

The post also said that it is not easy to create a capable team, and that they miss the glorious days of KLFA which saw them to be one of the football powerhouse in Malaysia.

KLFA is currently rock bottom in the league, and relegation from the Malaysia Super League next season seems to be a sure bet.
