Kampung Kekan will see many projects implemented in the near future as the government tries to ensure it is not left out in terms of development.
Minister of Welfare, Women and Family Development Datuk Fatimah Abdullah, who is Dalat assemblywoman, announced this during a meet the people session at the village’s community hall recently.
Among the projects implemented are the upgrading of the community hall at RM10,000 and an allocation of M246,7750 for a new surau.
Nother RM10,000 will be allocated for a tar-sealed road at Kampung Kekang Seberang while RM5,000 will be awarded to SK St Jude Parent-Teacher Association (PTA).
The school will also receive RM12,000 to construct a belian walkway connecting the preschool to the SK St Jude Kekan main road and another RM70,000 to build a new multipurpose hall.
