The RM1 million 1Malaysia Internet Centre (PIM) at Kpg Bako has been completed, and declared open for use. The centre which has 20 computers each would serve villagers in Kpg Bako, and allow them to benefit in terms of information and communication technology (ICT), education, banking, commerce and networking.

Aside from computers, the Kampung Bako PIM is also equipped with a closed-circuit TV (CCTV), and teaching and managing equipment.

Another PIM which cost RM1 million is also under construction at Taman Sepakat Jaya.

Both centres are regulated and built by the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC).
