Datuk Hassan Ali (photo: Taken from TMI) has been sacked by PAS. The news was broke by both The Star Online and The Malaysian Insider. Both sources said that PAS President Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang confirmed the news in a statement, and that the decision was reached based on a provision in the party’s constitution. The news was said to be obtained by party organ Harakahdaily.
Hassan Ali has in recent months have stirred PAS with his provocative comments which are not in line with the current PAS administrators. He was removed as PAS Selangor chief in 2010 due to his comments on the struggle of PAS. At the moment, he is in charge of religious affairs for Selangor under the Pakatan Rakyat government.
