A few weeks ago, we told you that AirAsia was conducting a trial run to to use their on board wi-fi services. The trial was done by a select few and was said to be success.

Well, now the news has got a little better with the airline extending the trial to their respective customers on selected flights for two full months!  The move is to enable them to get customer feedback on the services which is expected to be sold to customers as an add on in the near future.

This means that those on these selected flights can enjoy free wifi during their flights, and can continue communicating via WhatsApp, WeChat and Line.

Unfortunately however, you will not be able to browse the internet as usual as the wifi is limited to these three apps for now.

Have you tried their online wifi? What’s your feedback?
