Addictive mobile game Flappy Bird, which was removed from the Google Play store due to it being ‘too addictive’ will make a come back according to its creator.

The news was broken out at CNBC Closing Bell show, where the creator of Flappy Bird, Nguyen, promised the app to be less addictive, and will come with a multi-player function.

Flappy Bird is a very simple yet very hard game that used to be available on smartphone until Nguyen decided to call it off app centres. Numerous versions with similar game play has since surfaced, but Nguyen’s version was considered special as it was the most well known, and considered the first of its kind.

According to TechCrunch, Nguyen did say that the new version of Flappy Bird will be available in August.
