The Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) website was hacked today as calls for the President His Royal Highest Sultan Ahmad Shah to step down were made obvious in the hacked website.
The association which was founded in 1933 has sparked anger among local Malaysian football fans after it’s management called Assistant FAM President, Tan Sri Annuar Musa to the disciplinary board for criticising the Malaysian national team.
Offline, it is also observed that some fans are planning a mass rally in red shirts to protest against FAM although nothing concrete can be confirmed to date.
According to tech blog Amanz.my, this is the third time FAM’s website was hacked, with the first being about the RM50 ticket price, and the second done by a Tunasian hackers group.
The latest hacking of FAM’s website is claimed by Rileks Crew.
