Sarawak Bloggers Society has appointed Events Horizon Management as their official partner for the HashtagLive Kuching (#LiveKCH), happening at CityONE Exhibition Centre on the 12 to 13 September 2015.
The appointment would see Events Horizon manage the operational aspects of #LiveKCH as well as the creative activities visitors can expect from the event.
Mr. Cyril Dason, President of Sarawak Bloggers Society said: “Events Horizon has a vast experience in organizing events similar to #LiveKCH, and as such it was a natural decision to approach them to become our partner and assist us in running this youth-oriented event smoothly.”
“With this partnership, we believe #LiveKCH can achieve its purpose as a platform for the young Sarawakians to gather and showcase their talents. Perhaps a local artist will have his or her overnight sensation just like Elizabeth Tan! ” he continued.
Mr. Jason Chew, Managing Director of Events Horizon Management, echoed Cyril’s comments: “I believe there are many talented youths out there with potential to be a star, and I advocate opportunities for them to show their passion. So if you have what it takes to be famous, do send us a link to your YouTube video – that’ll be your audition tape.”
#LiveKCH aims at highlighting the yet-to-be-discovered talents on social media, as well as to bring young social media users who enjoy music, art, gaming, and shopping to network and meet new, like-minded friends.
Activities besides live performance include an indie bazaar, a cyber-games competition and educational talks on social media usage.
