e-Sports Malaysia (eSM), the official organisation for electronic sports or e-Sports in Malaysia is set to launch its Sarawak branch before April.

eSM Malaysia was started in January 28 this year, and is a registered sports body under the Malaysia Sports Commissioner Office. eSM has signaled its ambition to enhance electronic sports in the country, and the opening of a Sarawak chapter is one of its steps.

According to eSM Malaysia, the Sarawak chapter will focus on promoting gaming among varsity students, with Swinburne University top of its list.
