Celcom Axiata Bhd (Celcom) is handing out free SIM cards to Malaysians required to undergo the mandatory 14 day quarantine during the Movement Control Order (MCO).
Bernama reports that the SIM cards would be given to Malaysians coming back from overseas.
Celcom Axiata CEO Idham Nawawi said that Malaysians can apply for the free SIM cards from the authorities of through the Celcom Life App, adding that they are working with the authorities during this ‘challenging times’.
The free SIM Cards come with 1GB of data and 10GB of data for Facebook, Instagram and Games Walla.
Aside from the free SIM Cards for Malaysias undergoing mandatory quarantine, Celcom is also giving out free 1GB of internet for free a day to all customers, free WhatsApp, and unlimited access to websites and services of the Ministry of Health Malaysia.
