Almost all high-end smartphones can be used to play games, but among them, which one could be considered the best 2020 gaming smartphones?
In this post, I put together a list of smartphones tested by numerous tech enthusiast including myself, to see which smartphone would really prevail.
Before you read on, know that gaming smartphones are compared by their screen capabilities, as well as their ability to perform when playing games.
This means that the best gaming smartphones will likely have high-end processors, a large RAM size and outstanding displays.
They however will likely sacrifice features in the camera section as gamers are unlikely to put their phones down to take impressive photos.
That said, I’ve compiled a list of the best 2020 gaming smartphones one could consider based on watching and reading countless reviews on smartphones. Note that phones released prior to 2020 will not be in this list.

You probably would be confused with Sony’s naming choice when I listed the Sony Xperia 1 as one of the best gaming smartphones of 2020. I don’t blame you. I am too. However, with a screen able to accommodate a 21:9 aspect ratio, and a 6.5-inch 4K resolution, the Xperia 1 is able to blow your mind with vibrant and sharp images. 3SAMSUNG GALAXY S20 PLUS
There other variants to the Galaxy S20, but the Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus hits a sweet spot for gamers. The super-sharp 6.67-inch display brings fantastic looking graphics, and the screen refresh rate can ramp right up to 120Hz , impressive enough for gaming. Inside, is the powerful Exynos 990 or Snapdragon 865 processor (depending on your location), and its paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage space.

The NUBIA Red Magic 5G is probably the fastest smartphone on the planet, and yet it is highly affordable, priced at just $579 (MYR2,560). It has a 144Hz display allowing it to equal the high-end refresh rates on high-end gaming PC screens.
