Astro this week introduced four new apps to its Ulti Box which is in line with its promise to deliver the best viewing experience to customers.

The four apps are iQIYI, TVBAnywhere+, beIN SPORTS CONNECT and BBC Player apps, hence allowing customers to stream more LIVE global sporting events and their beloved Asian entertainment including Korean, Chinese and Hong Kong dramas and movies, the very best British programs, local favourites and anime on their big screen TV.

Ulti Box customers can now watch popular Original Sorry Naik Lori and Chinese drama, New Life Begins on iQIYI, A Perfect Man on TVBAnywhere+; sports content such as Ligue 1, La Liga and Australia Open Tennis on beIN SPORTS CONNECT and British content such as Strictly Come Dancing on BBC Player by accessing these apps via the “Apps” rail at their Home Page.

Access to the apps depend on subscription as follows.

  • beIN SPORTS CONNECT: Sports, Sports Plus, Premium 1, Premium 2 or Platinum Pack
    TVBAnywhere+ Chinese Favourites selection on the Entertainment, Entertainment Plus, Premium 2, Premium 3 or Platinum Pack
  • BBC Player: Variety, News and Documentary Packs on Entertainment, Entertainment Plus, Premium 2, Premium 3 or Platinum Pack
  • iQIYI Ala carte subscription for only RM8.90/month (exclusive to Astro customers) or Premium VIP subscriptions for RM12.90/month.

Other than introducing these 4 apps to the Ulti Box, Astro has also introduced other updates to its Boxes and Astro GO.

These changes include a revamped User Interface and Updates on Astro GO.
