The Gunners are in town for a friendly match with the Malayan Tigers whom coach Rajagopal has assured to feature ‘a good mix of young and old players’.

Arsenal came without top striker Robin Van Persie whom is yet to sign a new contract with the Gunners, while leaving out Locas Podolski and Per Mertesacker whom have only reported for training yesterday.

The friendly match between Malaysia and Arsenal will happen tomorrow with the both sides using it as preparation for their up-coming tournaments.

Arsenal brought Vito Mannone, Ignasi Miquel, Chuks Aneke, Thomas Eisfeld, Marouane Chamakh, Ryo Miyaichi, Craig Eastmond, Nico Yennaris, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Francis Coquelin, Kieran Gibbs, Alex Song, Lukasz Fabianski, Carl Jenkinson, Theo Walcott, Wojciech Szczesny, Johan Djourou, Benik Afobe, Thomas Vermaelen, Abou Diaby, Andre Santos, Gervinho, Mikel Arteta and Kyle Bartley for their pre-season friendly with the Malaysian XI.
