KUALA LUMPUR – Air Asia X has decided to stop their flights to Europe and Mumbai from their hub in Kuala Lumpur. The reason given is the higher cost of operation which was not viable for a long haul low cost service.

This move will see six weekly services to London suspended, effective April 1st, four weekly services to Paris to be ended effective March 31, four weekly services to Mumbai stopped beginning February 1st and daily flights to New Delhi suspended from March 23.

Air Asia X however hopes to reinstate flights to India once issues such as visa restriction be resolved.

Affected customers will be contacted by Air Asia X to facilitate their travel arrangements.
