Air Asia adds Air Asia Japan to its venture


Air Asia has added another collaboration under it’s belt with the announcement of Air Asia Japan.

The airline which is based in Narita Airport Japan is a joint venture between Japan’s All Nippon Airways (ANA) and AirAsia.

According to news reports, the deal sees AirAsia owning 49% stake in the airline while ANA holds 51%.

To mark the birth of the new Japanese version, 10,000 seats will be on sale for as low as 5 (20 sen) during the launch.

Air Asia also has joint ventures in other Asian regions such as Thailand, Indonesia and Philiphines.
