Rural and Regional Development Ministry will build and repair 4,623 houses in Sarawak under the Housing Aid Programme this year.

The ministry’s project coordinator in Sarawak, Kiprawi Saman said the project would be built in 31 districts statewide at a cost of RM120 million.

He said the tender for the project would be opened to contractors by the first week next month and all works were expected to be fully completed by December.
