St Joseph grabs Kuching choral speaking title

SMK St Joseph defeated 22 other schools to win the Kuching Division Secondary School Choral Speaking Competition on Tuesday.

They performed a presentation entitled ‘Yours Sincerely’. Second place went to SMK St Mary with SMK St Teresa caming in third.

SMK Sungai Maong and SMK St Thomas won consolation prizes while SMK St Teresa’s Mildred Lee was named best conductor.

The event was officiated by Kuching district deputy education officer Yong Ing Tung.

Judges came from the Batu Lintang Teachers Training Institute and Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (Unimas).

This years event was hosted by SMK St Joseph and was sponsored by the Education Department Kuching Division with the cooperation of Dewan Bahasa and Pustaka.
