RWMF gets greener with bus rides in town

The popular Rainforest World Music Festival (RWMF) will be greener this time around as the organizers, the Sarawak Tourism Board (STB) will try its best to ensure that the vendors at the food and village mart use green products and adopt green practices.

To enhance this, STB will also encourage the use of public shuttles and hence the collaboration with local bus company City Public Link (CPL).

In a brief ceremony at Hill Mall Kuching, CEO of STB Datuk Rashid Khan revealed a RWMF decorated CPL bus which will be plying the city from now until the festival. The bus is hopped to create more awareness on the event among locals.

The CPL buses will have special packages during the coming RWMF and it will be centralized at The Hill Mall before moving to Merdeka Palace Hotel & Suites and then proceed to Sarawak Cultural Village from 10am till 12.30am.
