New police station for Sg Merah

Sg Merah got itself a new police station yesterday after it was officially opened by Bukit Aman Director, Dato’ Mortadza Nazarene.

The station which is located along Jalan Teku will cater for the people staying in the Sg. Merah and Teku area.

It was reported by website Sarawak Update that the 14.24 hectares station cost RM84.3 million.

It was completed in June last year and includes the facilities such as logistic block, management block, surau, police hall and football field.
