Murders in Sarawak solved

Two of the three murder cases in Sibu this year have been solved, while two others in Kuching and Miri are being investigated, said state deputy police commissioner Dato Law Hong Soon.

He said the case of murdered bank manager Stephen Wong was considered solved following the recent arrest of six persons while the murder of businessman Ling Tong Hock, his mother Leong Nyuk Lan and children David and Amy in January this year was solved following the arrest of a 17-year-old boy.

The remaining cases involving the shooting deaths of businessmen in Sibu, Kuching and Miri respectively are still under investigation.
