Free Anwar 901 Gets Go Ahead

The Star Online reported that the “Free Anwar 901″ gathering on Monday is approved with both sides agreeing to have it at the courts car park, in a peaceful manner.  This decision is considered a landmark because the police has been advising the public not to participate in such demonstrations via their networks.

The decision was made after the city police chief Datuk Mohmad Salleh met with PKR deputy president Azmin Ali on Friday. Anwar Ibrahim, a key figure in the opposition party is set to know the verdict on his sodomy trail on 9 January 2012.
