Chong Wei and Lin Dan cruise to finals to set dream finals

World number one in badminton, Lin Dan had no problem defeating South Korea’s Lee Hyun-Il 21-12, 21-10 to advance to the Olympic 2012 Men’s Single Badminton Finals, while his close nemesis Lee Chong Wei whom is looking for his country’s first gold medal in the Olympics strolled pass Chen Long 21-13, 21-14.

Both are set to meet yet again to repeat the 2008 Beijing Olympics Finals which was won by fancied Lin Dan of China.

The game is expected to be thrilling as Chong Wei has hinted that he will retire after the London Olympics, prompting him to say that he will give his very best during the finals for his country Malaysia.

For those interested to cheer and watch the Lin Dan – Chong Wei face off, tune in to your local TV Station this Sunday, as we expect TV1, TV2 and Astro to broadcast the tournament live at 8PM.

Also don’t forget Koo Kien Keat and Tan Boon Heong would be playing Fu Haifeng and Chai Yun in the men’s doubles Badminton semi-finals at 4PM today.
