Catholic Church holds earth-breaking ceremony despite lacking funds

St Ann Catholic Church in Padawan held the earth-breaking ceremony for their new St Ann Catholic Church yesterday despite only securing RM4.5 million from the needed RM17.8million.

Aside from housing a church, the new church centre would also include various other buildings which shall be used for religious affairs which include Sunday School classes.

Aside from Archbishop John Ha and Fr Gerald, the ceremony was also attended by Infrastructure Development and Communitarian Minister Datuk Seri Micheal Manyin Jawong whom also suggested that the church set up a learning centre for young Christian children.
