Local football blog, Bolasepak Malaysia expects Sarawak to end the 2012 season among the top 10 teams this year. The report produced noted that coach Robert Alberts has strengthen the defense and attack of Sarawak, and has romped in numerous local and foreign imports to help this cause.
The report suggest that local import from MP Muar, Sani Anuar Kamsani is not assured a sure first eleven start at the goalkeeping position as local boy Aidil Mohamad did perform his duties well last season. It was also a huge question mark on who would partner Cameroonian Kalle Sone upfront as Bobby Gonzalez has returned to his home state team, Sabah.
The top ten prediction for Sarawak is a massive task as the team has just returned to the Malaysian Super League this season. Nonetheless, it is hopped that Sarawak can do much better than top ten this season. Sarawak play Kuala Lumpur at home this 10 January 2012.
