Bluebirds to turn red?

Cardiff City also known as the Bluebirds are rumoured to be changing colours in what some papers say to be a move to enjoy better ‘luck’.

According to numerous sources online, the team is set to not only change their kit from blue to red, but also change their bird mascot to a fiery dragon, which symbolises strength.

Reports also suggest that Cardiff City fans are angered with the move, but the owners of the club whom are Malaysians have also offered bigger and better sponsorships with the change.

Online, sources from numerous England based sites have said that the move is not welcomed with some saying that such move will remove the ‘soul’ of the club.

Wales based site walesonline.co.uk whom is doing a poll on the re-branding saw a rather split result with above 49%  saying they are for such a move, while the rest are either against it (46%) or undecided (4%).

Cardiff confirmed that they would not be entering the English Premier League next season after they were defeated by West Ham in the play-off.
