Fans of the Crocs will not miss the Borneo derby after all as the Sarawak Football Association (FAS) will prepare two giant screens outside the stadium showcasing the game between Sarawak and Sabah.
According to news reports, FAS will also include a match commentary during the game.
It is understood that the effort to set up the live screens was a collaboration between the Sarawak ultras and FAS in their effort to calm the fury among the fans whom have been ‘locked out’ from the stadium for four matches by the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM).
A local daily also reported that President of FAS Datuk Sudarsono hoped that such effort will be the first and the last for Sarawak, as he hopes that their appeal on the ‘fan ban’ would see Sarawak play in front of their home fans again.
Sarawak take on Sabah this Saturday with newsman, match officials and security forces only allowed into the stadium.
