Better Rainforest World Crafts Bazaar to accompany RWMF 2012

The 4th edition of the Rainforest World Crafts Bazaar 2012 (RWCB 2012) is slated to once again feature prominently as an important fringe event to the renowned Rainforest World Music Festival (RWMF 2012) now in its 15th year.

“RWCB 2012 promises to be even better that in previous years with a greater variety of arts, crafts and creativity focused activities including exhibition sales. We at Crafthub Sdn. Bhd. as the event organiser, are striving hard to add even greater value and interest to the exciting lineup of the RWMF 2012”, says event director Mrs. Heidi Munan during a courtesy call made to Sarawak Tourism Board (STB) Chief Executive Officer, Dato Rashid Khan at his office here today.

Presented with the final RWCB 2012 participants list by the organisers, Dato Rashid Khan was happy to note that this year’s event was able to draw the participation from our neighbouring states of Sabah, Terengganu, Selangor and numerous others as well as from countries as far as Uzbezkistan and Indonesia. “RWCB 2012 as in the previous 3 years have played its part as a fringe event to our RWMF further adding to the artistic flavor of the festival and I am happy that this special symbiosis between STB and Crafthub Sdn. Bhd. is once again going to result in an even better festival in 2012”, he emphasized.

RWCB 2012 will feature amongst other, booths selling the arts, crafts and creative products from the different tribal artisans from Sarawak as well as neighbouring states and countries and also hands on workshops and some arts and crafts demonstrations. The creative talents of students and lecturers from several institutions of higher learning will also be showcased at this event.

Y.B. Datuk Amar Abang Zohari bin Tun Openg is the honourable patron of this event and RWCB 2012 is organized by Crafthub Sdn. Bhd. in partnership with STB and is logistically supported by UComms. RWCB 2012 is on from the 13 to 15 July 2012 at the Sarawak Cultural Village, home of the RWMF.
