All schools nationwide will have electricity and clean water supply by 2013. This was revealed by Education Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.
At the moment there were 46 clean water supply facilities which are yet to operate as the related electricity supply projects are still underway.
There is also 570 electricity supply projects nationwide which had been or is currently being implemented involving 42 schools in the peninsula, 179 in Sabah and 427 in Sarawak.
Another 1,605 building maintenance projects nationwide is also being planned under the Special Stimulus Programme 2012 with a total cost of RM435 million.
